Early morning progress report

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

It is around 5:30 am at the time I started writing this, and I’m really not THAT tired, but please try to look away from any typos that may occur during this post. Not quite sure if I should bother going to sleep or not though (knowing myself, I probably wont). Anyways, I think I finally have an idea I’m gonna go with for my first shot in class 3. I actually managed to come up with quite a few in the end, so I’ll have to write them down somewhere to use later in this class, just in case. It has been a damn pain to find something that would be fun to do, not nessecarily because I haven’t had any ideas at all, but a lot of what I have come up with would have been too damn hard to shoot any good reference for. It probably would have been possible in most of the cases, but I figured I should go for something not too elaborate for the first shot, and instead go for something “easier” and focus more on the animation.

It’s great to back at AM and seeing everyone again, and to finally be able to do some animation again. I have really been looking forward to this term, and to get back to AM, and it’s gonna be great to start animating again. Can’t say who my mentor is gonna be for this term yet, as I am in the middle of swapping classes with another student, so I can get a Q&A time that suits me a little better than 7am. Too early for me.
