So, yeah, I know I’ve been horrible when it comes to uploading my Animation Mentor work these last few weeks, but now I finally got around to doing it. I was supposed to have this uploaded yesterday, but apparantly Flickr didn’t like me very much, and I couldn’t upload my shot before today (something about a codec that I have always used not working anymore, I have no idea why). Anyway, my two person dialogue shot is almost blocked out completely. All I need is comfirmation from my mentor that everything works.

Monday, February 1st, 2010Those of us in class 5 at Animation Mentor have finally started working on a new assignment. Thank god! On the other hand, that means animating two, that’s right TWO, characters in the same shot. Which honestly scares the crap out of me. But I’m also glad that I’ll have something fresh and new to work on.

Class 5 – Week 2
Monday, January 18th, 2010So the second week at Animation Mentor has just finished, the assginment has been handed in, and a new week has begun. This week was pretty good over-all. Got alot of work done early, and didn’t have to spend my entire weekend stressing to get the shot done. I think I’ll try that approach this week too. Seems like a pretty solid plan.

Class 4 – Week 10, Almost There
Wednesday, December 9th, 2009Got my eCritique for my week 10 assignment yesterday, and I figured it was about time I uploaded it here too. We’re now in week 11, which means that this is the last week we at Animation Mentor have to work on our assignments before the term ends, and I’m honestly really looking forward to having a few weeks off school. Still, I have a buch of work to do this week before I’m finished.

Class 4 – Week 9
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009Been a very long time since I updated last time. Not good, but I’ll do my best to make up for it in the future. Currently I’m in the middle of animation my very first dialogue shot. Which, strangely enough is a whole lot of hard work. We’re also coming to the end of this term at Animation Mentor, with only two weeks left, not counting this one. I still have a lot of work to do on my shot, but at least it’s not looking like total crap.
